What is a boost, and when is it worth it?

HireBase Team · · 0 min read

A boost puts your profile first for nearby clients for a set number of hours. How it works, what it costs, and how to measure it.

What a boost does

For the hours you choose, your profile is shown first to clients searching for your services near you. Boosted professionals always appear before non-boosted ones, and a higher level beats a lower one. You also get instant alerts when a matching job is posted in your area.

What it costs

Boosts are paid once with coins — nothing renews automatically. Each level has a duration (for example 24 h or 3 days) and a coin price. Some subscription plans include a boost that stays on for the whole month at no extra coin cost.

When it is worth it

How to measure it

The Leads screen shows appearances and profile clicks with and without boost for the last 7 or 30 days, and how many coins each click cost. If clicks per coin are good, repeat; if not, fix the profile first.

Open Leads in your dashboard to see the available levels.
